"the great pumpkin race"
it was a very simple idea that gave them room to work on the comedy aspect of the film, instead of how are we going to portray this so that the audience can understand. also the unrealistic actions, such as the pumpkins jumping into the window, made the film more comical. probably more now then during the time period it was made, because we look at it as old technology that you can tell they made that happen. were as today we have technology that can make actions happen that look real and you would never guessed it was a special effect.

"at land"
i really enjoyed this film, i thought it was very creative. i really liked the story line and how you didn't really know what was going to happen until it does. i thought the changing of the imagery as one shot was really amazing. also the camera shots and angles were very great and effective.

"the lead shoes"
i thought this film was very creative, although i did not understand it one bit. it was interesting and held my attention for almost the whole movie, but just didn't get the point or the plot. i really liked the opening credits, i thought that was very creative.
